Magooby's Joke House is the only comedy club in the area with established national headliners every week. Comedians from Letterman, The Tonight Show, Comedy Central as well as your favorite tv sitcoms perform in an intimate setting where every seat is a good one and the sound system is state of the art. We don't believe that comedy club audiences should be treated like cattle- herded into some holding pen prior to the show- feel free to come early and enjoy a drink or a meal upstairs at the Bowman Restaurant. During the show we offer a lite fare menu as well as imported and domestic beer, wine, spirits and incredibly tasty specialty drinks. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the age requirement to attend a show?
18 and older (21 to drink alcohol). You may be 16-17 with parents/guardian in attendance. We occasionally have Kids Comedy Sunday and those shows are open to people of all ages. For kids shows no alcohol is served and the two item min is not in effect.

What time do the doors open for shows?
Doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime for 1:00pm shows, 8:00pm shows and 8:30 pm shows. Doors open 30 minutes prior to 10:30pm shows.

What is the dress code?
Casual. No tank tops for men or flip flops.

Are reservations required?
No. However if you don't reserve seats and the show sells-out you will be on standby. Reservations are not guaranteed after the show begins.

What does the two item minimum purchase requirement mean?
Each person is required to buy two items in the club. Food, alcohol, sodas and juice each count as items.

How many people does the club hold?

Is parking available?
We have a big parking lot and parking is free. If on occasion it gets full there is other free parking in close proximity.

If we have a large group will we be able to sit together?
If a reservation is made you will be seated together. The only exception is for sold out shows. Sometimes there are so many large groups that it just isn't possible to accommodate everyone. However that is extremely rare.

Can I request to sit at a certain table?
Seating is done on a first come first seat basis. Our doormen will seat you upon arrival.

If I make a reservation do I pay for the tickets at that time?
No, making a reservation guarantees you seats. You pay for the tickets at the door.
